The Chainsaw That Saves Trees
How do you get forest landowners to sign a 100-year pledge to conserve their trees and fight climate change? By sending them a chainsaw.
This one-of-a-kind direct mail piece shows them that felling sick trees saves the healthy ones - and empowers them to sign the pledge.
”I’m not sure you can save a tree with a chainsaw but you could probably save a forest.”

We used bold social to drive people to chainsawsthatsavetrees.org.
Billboards were placed in small, rural towns where the landowners lived, driving them to our site.
Once we got people to the site, we revealed why using chainsaws save trees and how they could save more trees with Forest Carbon Works. Once they clicked on the button, they were presented with the manifesto of what a Green-Collar Conservationist was, a person who cares about the land, but who is also practical about it.
